Tom Holm, modern day adventurer, will drive his 2005 Chevy Silverado Crew Cab Pick Up Truck across America powered by a Duramax Diesel-Allison Transmission power pack, coast-to-coast and back again using nothing but P-100 (100% plant oils) as fuel. Holm hopes to bring attention to this American-grown and readily-available fuel source and set a Guinness World record. Holm will be accompanied on his journey by his camera crew in his FlexFuel 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe, running on E85 Ethanol. With no political or commercial agenda, Holm’s says he is simply looking into a possible solution to America’s dependency on foreign fuels, seeking a way to decrease harmful vehicle emissions and equally important, support America’s farmers.
